Welcome to my family! I built this business 9 years ago on the fundamental premise that dogs are pack animals and do not want to be separated from their pack.

Recognizing that there weren’t many “cage-free” boarding options for dogs, I offered my home as a haven.  After a few years of personally hosting 10+ dogs per day, I decided to expand (ran out of room on the bed!).  I have carefully selected my nannies to work with me in promoting the ultimate experience for our furry guests.

We are personally committed to meeting the specific needs of your breed(s). We offer the option of hosting in our home or we can move into yours.

We look forward to accommodating you and your furry loved ones. Please call us to schedule an advance consultation!

We are currently retired but wanted something more so we decided that being doggie nannies would be perfect for us, given our love of animals. We have a new addition to our home: Mindy, a small (2-lb), 2-month old Maltese. She is enjoying our furry guests who are helping us teach her proper socialization while she navigates a new world.

We enjoy spending time hiking, cycling and kayaking. We have a large backyard and a nice area for walking the dogs.   We are really looking forward to spending time with all the wonderful dogs that are placed in our care.

When these farm kids married 51+ years ago, Tom proclaimed “no animals in the house!” “Sure, fine”, agreed the blushing bride. By their tenth anniversary, they had 2 dogs, 2 cats (and their kittens), fish, a nursing baby raccoon and lots of 4H’ers and Boy Scouts to help with animal care.

Now retired in Scottsdale, we unexpectedly grew our family again when “Stitch” (a small dachshund) showed up at our door one day and never left! We are looking forward to snuggling and walking your visiting fur babies. We have a lifetime of experience.

Hi! I’m Mary-Mike and look forward to sharing “Mozart” (my sidekick, a Chihuahua-terrier mix) and our condo lifestyle with you! I offer a beautiful green-belt area for long walks and afternoon “yappy hours” with our dog-loving neighbors.

My love of animals, especially the incredible dogs I have fostered or cared for over the years, was learned early in life from my mother. While raising 12 children, she still found time to nurture dogs and make them part of our household.

My deep understanding of dogs was reinforced while in Germany with my husband, Robert. It was through his eyes that I saw how dogs think, react and feel. They never cease to amaze me! Mozart and I look forward to meeting your amazing dogs soon!

My name is Michelle. My husband Ken and I are from Montana and we happily became Arizonans in 2006. I would love some company and a furry companion to go on walks with.

Our family of 6 have been blessed with many animals in our 46 years together; 14 dogs, 10 cats, 11 horses and a few guinea pigs and gerbils, not all at once of course .

We live in a pet friendly, family neighborhood with a nice back yard for ball fetch, backyard romp and lots of walking areas nearby.

There is lots of grass to roll and run in too! We currently have only 1 cat as a pet, “Sophie”.

Our place feels a little empty without a dog’s love in it, so we would love to share our hearts and home with your babies.  We look forward to meeting you!

We are a very dog friendly family on the lookout for more “dog-n-laws!” My children (7 and 8) will give your pooch a lot of attention and affection. Dog sitting gives our family the opportunity to experience a variety of breeds several times a month. We just love it!

We always follow your guidelines about how to care for your dog – you know best! I work from home, so your dog will be with me throughout the day and rarely alone.

We have a gated yard and a pool. We like to take walks with our guests and give them a wonderful experience, filled with lots of love.

Because I have children, I understand special details regarding your baby needs. Also, I’m used to messy eaters, looking for potty cues and giving each “child” the affection they need. It’s a good fit!

My husband (Dr. Joe, a speech therapist and professor) and I recently relocated to Tempe from Louisville, KY, where I ran a pet-friendly Bed & Breakfast. We understand the importance of providing traveling families an opportunity to leave their pets in our care with complete peace of mind.

Our Wonderpup “Greta” is a long- haired dachshund and certified Therapy Dog. We volunteer our time locally with Autistic children who require Speech, OT, PT, & Psychological services.

I believe in a “pay it forward” philosophy. Greta is very spoiled, and we know how important it is to spoil your pet(s) when you are away.

Greetings! We began homeschooling 3 years ago and found that our favorite school days were those when friends and family dropped their dogs off for a visit when they traveled or needed to give their dogs a break from all the visitors at their house.

Our son Mark, 12, and daughter Kami, 10, love spending time with dogs, taking them for walks along our beautiful walking paths, playing in the park and in our peaceful yard, or just lounging around enjoying the companionship of new found friends.

The dogs that spend time with us are treated like family, loved and cared for as if they were our own. We look forward to meeting the pets that hold a special place in your family as we invite them to spend time with ours.

Hi, I am Jeri. I retired from a government job and working my dream job, entertaining dogs. Our household includes my husband, Mike, a retired police sergeant and our 10-year old Siberian Husky, Paris. We are located near the White Tank’s Mountains on 2 acres. We have two fenced, grassy areas for dogs to romp, chase birds and rabbits or gaze at the horses, cows, and goats nearby. The backyard and pasture is 1 ¼ acres. There is a fenced pool for warm weather play for dogs that like the water. I also offer agility equipment for the adventurous.
I have been around dogs my whole life, and believe dogs need to have their bodies and minds exercised every day. And yes, I talk to the animals so Doolittle’s is a terrific fit.

If weather doesn’t permit outside play, I have been known to put the tunnel and tire up in the great room to create an interesting game of fetch. Our furniture is dog friendly if yours are allowed on it but we can enforce a “no furniture” rule.

Paris is dog friendly and would enjoy some company on our long walks in the country.

It would be my goal to keep your “kids” so loved and busy they hardly know you’re gone. We hope your next vacation includes a fun-filled vacation for your dogs in our home.

Hello! I’m Joanne and I would love to care for your furry loved ones! I am home all day and night, in a comfortable dog-friendly home with a fenced yard, natural green grass to play in and a doggie door for those who are trained to use one.

I have been a Pet Parent all my life and love all animals. I will give your pets the TLC they need and deserve.

Special requests are easily accommodated, including medications, special meal preparation or senior dog needs.

As I no longer own a pet, I’m anxious to fill my home with the love and attention your furry kids need with all the love that only a dog can provide in return.

Hope to meet you soon!

While we primarily host dogs (only) in our private homes, we realize that some families require a move-in nanny to tend to multiple dogs, cats, birds, turtles, and, of course, your general household needs.

These nannies are available for those special requests and arrive with packed bags, lots of love and years of pet care experience!

I am also available to move into your home and tend to your furry (or feathery) kids. My husband doesn’t mind if I leave him home alone while I stay in yours. I will help you with household chores (mail pick up, garbage collection, water plants, etc.) while I play with your pets.

I look forward to meeting you and yours!

We recently moved from Scottsdale, to a gated community in northwest Peoria. Having been retired for some time and given our special love for dogs, we decided that being associated with “Doolittle’s Doghouse” would be perfect for us. Our house feels a little empty without a dog’s love in it, so this association gives us the opportunity to share our hearts and home with your cherished pet.

We have a small, secure backyard and back to a green belt, which is an awesome place to walk and play with your dog.

We look forward to meeting you and spending time with, and sharing our love with your pets!

Hi! I’m Mike! I’m Doolittle’s professional Chauffeur and a move-in “manny”; covering both directions as your needs require.

I’m available to taxi your pet as needed and also “park” in your home for extended care of your furry loved ones while you are away.

My wife and I own a mature yet socially awkward Wheaton Terrier, so I understand special needs dogs as well. I am able to leave my loved ones at home while I move into yours.

I can’t wait to meet you! Let’s roll….

I live in a secure, cozy patio home with plenty of room for dogs (or cats) with wonderful walking paths and dog-friendly parks nearby.

I’m originally from Virginia yet have called Arizona “home” for 22 years.

Now that I’m retired, I enjoy quality time with friends, yoga classes, at-home art projects and pet sitting.

I look forward to meeting you and spending quality time with your pets.

Hi! I’m Loretta and can’t wait to meet you and your furry tribe! I have been taking care of pets all my life, including my 2 dogs and recent addition, a turtle!

My honey and I live in Phoenix, and when Doolittle’s calls, I leave Eddie at home to tend to ours so I can tend to yours! I operate a small housekeeping business (both residential and commercial) yet am never gone from your home longer than 4 hours (while I clean other homes and offices).

I am a huge animal lover and enjoy the company of them all! I look forward to meeting you!

Hi! I’m Sandy!  I grew up in CT, moved to CA and VA before arriving in AZ five years ago.  I love animals of all types.  I have a wonderful dog, Roxie, who makes my life complete every day, and 2 cats who entertain me constantly.

I worked as a Vet tech for a Doctor who took care of farm animals.  I loved helping them all especially noting their capacity for living and their dignity when sick or dying.  It helped me to see my own life differently.  I transitioned to people medicine for 25 years before retiring.

I have owned (or been owned) by some special dogs over the years and have wonderful memories of all of them.  I look forward to helping you make wonderful, daily memories for your pets while in my care.

I’m Marilee, a recently- retired corporate executive, in advertising and marketing, transitioning to my own start-up, and relishing working from home.

As I depart from the office klatsch and clamor, I realize how much I miss having a dog or two at my feet. I haven’t had the pleasure of personal pet ownership for a few years, so please indulge me as I want to love your furry kids while you are away from them.   I have a big heart for all dogs, big and small, and have plenty of room to spare and lots of love to share.

I’m readily available to host in my home or yours. Bark my way!
